Such impressive characteristics of this encoder allow to use it together with\u00a0<b>FASTRACK guides\u00a0<\/b>, which are characterized by high accuracy and small hysteresis.<\/p>\n<p>As well as the FASTRACK guides, TONiC encoders provide a fast and easy installation. The resistance to unfavorable operating conditions and the reliability of operation over long periods of time are guaranteed by the optical filtering system and automatic gain control, which gives a high degree of immunity to dirt, scratches and greasy fingerprints &#8211; factors that can lead to errors in the reading of encoders from other manufacturers.<\/p>\n<p><b>Ultra-compact reading head of linear encoder with high-precision scale tape RTLC<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Renishaw\u00b4s TONiC series is a new generation of ultra-compact encoders that have been specially developed for precision linear motion measurement systems, the series encoders provide higher accuracy and speed, as well as increased reliability, and are used in a number of industries where very high demands are made to the measurements.<\/p>\n<p>TONiC reading head is supplemented by a new scale RTLC tape installed in the FASTRACK guides, this tape has an accuracy of \u00b1 5 \u03bcm\/m and is equipped with optical zero marks IN-TRAC<sup>TM<\/sup>\u00a0with two-way repeatability located at intervals of 50 mm (or 200 mm for lengths exceeding 1 m). The user can select one or more labels by installing self-adhesive magnets.<\/p>\n<p><b>An excellent level of accuracy control for linear movements<\/b><\/p>\n<p>In order to achieve maximum reliability and a high degree of immunity to contamination, the TONiC reading heads are equipped with a third generation optical signal filtering system that provides an even lower noise level (jitter), the efficiency of this system is further enhanced by dynamic signal processing including automatic adjustment amplification and bias. As a result, a low subdivision error (SDE) is achieved, which provides smoother speed control, and this allows improved scan results and improved positioning stability.
