Unlike other linear encoders with a serial interface, the RGH26 head does not require a separate interface. All electronics, interpolation devices and data conversion, transmitted in series, are enclosed in a compact package similar to the popular RGH22 model. When working with the RGH26 encoder head, a unique scale RGS20-S ribbon with a 20 &#956;m pitch of Renishaw is used; at the same time, a resolution of up to 0.5 &#956;m is achieved.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<b> Characteristics and advantages of the reading head RGH26 <\/b>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n &#8211; Compact and robust reading head with built-in interpolator provides serial data transfer compatible with Mitsubishi system formats.<br \/>\n &#8211; The non-contact design provides high speed and reliable operation with zero friction and no mechanical wear.<br \/>\n &#8211; The reading head reads in increments (with a certain step), which gives a high degree of immunity to interference.<br \/>\n &#8211; Simple procedure for installing and setting the reading head due to the presence of a special built-in LED indicator.<br \/>\n  The optical signal filtering system guarantees high signal stability in conditions that do not allow the use of most open optical encoders.<br \/>\n &#8211; The zero mark ensures the repeatability of the initial position, and the limit switches &#8211; the automatic signal giving the initiating stop of the moved node.\n <\/p>\n<p>\n<b> Scale tape RGS20-S with a pitch of 20 &#956;m<br \/>\n<\/b>\n<\/p>\n<p>\nRGS20-S tape with a pitch of 20 microns is made of a thin flexible steel strip, which is coated with gold to provide high reflectivity and corrosion resistance. This tape can be fixed, using a self-adhesive base, on most materials used in the industry, including metals, ceramics and composite materials.<br \/>\n &#8211; The tape is supplied on a reel, it can be cut off parts of the desired length, up to 70 m.<br \/>\n  RGS20-S tape has temperature characteristics corresponding to the characteristics of the substrate on which the tape is attached, which simplifies the process of compensating for the effect of temperature.<br \/>\n &#8211; A special device is provided for fast and accurate installation of the scale tape (patented).<br \/>\n  The lacquer coating of the tape is easy to clean and is resistant to external influences that occur when manipulating the tape.<br \/>\n  You can always cut a piece of any necessary length that optimizes inventory management and minimizes waste.<br \/>\n &#8211;
