In order to solve the problems with very high requirements for accuracy, one can take into account the influence of this small factor, for each ruler its exact value is determined, which is indicated in the calibration certificate.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nIn addition to the very low coefficient of thermal expansion, Invar products are exceptionally strong. This makes it possible to produce rulers with a much smaller cross-section as compared to brittle glass rulers.
