The linear encoder system with the RSLA line gives a total error of less than \u00b1 4 &#956;m at 5 m &#8211; the best result in the industry! (It is possible to solve the problems of position control for lengths up to 5 m &#8211; on request). The system includes a RESOLUTE readout head and a stainless steel RSLA line in which only one track is used, the absolute scale at which absolute position and phase data are combined in a single code. In combination with the encoder characteristics such as low SDE and low jitter, the latest optical design, resolution up to 1 nm and ease of installation, the RSLA line is ideal for solving problems for long lengths that require high storage accuracy of measurements.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nMade from stainless steel of special composition, the RSLA line has a coefficient of thermal expansion equal to 10.8 &#956;m\/m\/\u00b0C and is distinguished by high corrosion resistance. The RSLA line has the same precision as a high-precision glass ruler, but it&#180;s more convenient to use: it can be folded for storage in a ring, but in a straightened state it behaves exactly like a rigid ruler. This sturdy ruler has a much smaller cross-section than conventional glass rulers.
