Resistance thermometers

The resistance thermometers are equipped with a temperature sensor made of a metal conductor, the resistance of which depends on the temperature. WIKA manufactures resistance thermometers with both a direct cable outlet and a terminal protective head. The normalizing current converter can be mounted directly into the head. Connection to secondary electronic equipment (controller, indicator, recorder, etc.) can be performed in 2, 3 or 4-wire circuits depending on the application.

Resistance thermometers are used to measure temperatures from -200 ° C to +600 ° C (depending on the type of device, the sensor and the materials which are in contact with the measured medium).
