3D laser scanners are designed for non-contact scanning of products in order to obtain a 3D computer model.
How it works.
Scanners are designed for use on any CNC machine. Kit supply includes a laser sensor (model-by-order), a synchronization module and a software package. In the scanning mode, the CNC system of the machine sequentially moves the laser sensor over the prototype of the product. Thus, a digitized prototype model is created, which is stored as a point cloud, as well as in the generally accepted STL, DXF, TXT format, suitable for further use in the CNC.
Ashera Software
Scanner includes specialized program. The software allows:
- generate a line scan file for the CNC system (G-codes), including setting the size of the scanning area, setting the sampling step for X, Y coordinates and scanning speed;
- change the parameters of the laser sensor, including setting the smoothing filter and filtering measurement errors;
- receive data from the laser sensor;
- visualize the data;
- post-processing the received data;
- generate files of standard formats STL, DXF, TXT.
