Laser profilometer for the surface of the riding of railway wheel pairs

Laser profilometer is designed to measure:
- heights of the comb (rolled);
- thickness of the comb;
- steepness of the comb;
- removal and analysis of the full profile of the wheel surface;
- support of the electronic database on the wear of wheel pairs;
- conducting admission control and disassembly during technical inspection, repair and formation of railway wheel pairs of locomotives and MVRS.
The measurements are made directly on the rolling stock, without rolling out the wheel pairs.
How it works
The operator installs the instrument on the measured wheel. By command with a PC or PTC (pocket tablet computer), the built-in laser module is (similar to the RF603 series laser triangulation sensor) performs contactless scanning of the wheel surface.
Measurement results (geometric parameters and surface profile) are displayed on the PTC, can be stored in the PTC memory and transmitted to the PC database. Additional parameters are saved simultaneously: operator number, side identifier (left or right wheel), axis number, locomotive number (wagon) number, wheel number, etc.
